Biological Chemistry Program Research Tracks:
All faculty members of the Biological Chemistry Program belong to one or more research tracks.
Research Tracks (leaders):
Biochemistry (Michael Kay)
Chemical Biology/ Medicinal Chemistry (Eric Schmidt)
Structural Biology / Biophysics (Chris Hill)
Each research track is featured in a link from the Program web page.
Faculty are periodically requested to indicate their preference for a
specific research track(s).
Each research track is expected to provide one first-year journal club/grant writing course each year. Journal clubs maintain BC class numbers.
The curriculum committee of the BC Program oversees overall issues of
quality for core and journal club/grant writing courses.
The chair of the curriculum committee may request that specific research tracks provide elective courses and journal clubs as appropriate.
Any group of faculty in the Program can petition the steering committee
to be recognized as a research track.
